Bharat Bhusan Bhalla was remembered by the audience for Baiju Bawra from 1952, was born on 14 th June, 1920 in Meerut to father Raibahadur Motilal. He studied from Dharam Samaj College. He married Ratna and had two daughters. His major success was from Barsaat Ki Raat and Basant Bahaar. Though his debut film was Chitralekha in 1941 and as a producer his first film was Dooj Ka Chand. Bharat won Filmfare for his portrayal of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in 1955. he died on 27 th Jan, 1992 at the age of 71 due to financial crisis as said by most of the industry persons.
